Prior to joining R&H, Nicholas represented defendants in civil matters, seeing cases through settlement or trial. After graduating from William & Mary Law School, Nicholas supported the Denver District Court judge’s full docket of civil litigation matters.
Representative Matters:
Successfully invoked statute of limitations in response to a motion to amend a complaint, saving the client roughly $300,000 in additional exposure.
Successfully obtained summary judgment in favor of a subcontractor who worked on a single-family residential construction project on the implied warranty of habitability in residential construction legal requisite.
Successfully moved to dismiss claims under the Colorado Consumer Protection Act on behalf of a client whose alleged actions did not substantially affect the public at large.
