Harvey Skees is a partner on Robinson & Henry’s Family Law Team. He holds over two decades of experience and has handled more than 2,000 cases in family law and criminal defense.
Prior to joining R&H, Harvey’s practice spanned four states, where he successfully litigated criminal defense cases, civil matters, and family law.
Representative matters
Sexual assault defense – Obtained not guilty verdict on felony charges with potential for life in prison based on allegations of ongoing sexual assault
Wrongful death and product liability litigation – Obtained a seven-figure settlement from events leading to the death of two young women and injury to several others after a driver using a diet medication caused a crash at speeds of 80MPH
Parenting time for mother – Secured an additional 150 days of parenting time for mother who was not represented by counsel for the original parenting plan agreement
Civil litigation defense – Defended client against a $6 million product liability claim filed by a high-profile company
Traffic accident defense – Obtained not guilty verdict on felony and misdemeanor driving charges for a client accused of crossing the centerline into oncoming traffic and causing a head-on collision
DUI defense – Obtained not guilty verdict for client charged with DUI and probation violation. A six-person jury, including a sitting U.S. Senator, concluded police did not follow proper testing procedures, rendering breath test results invalid, and the field sobriety test did not support a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt
