I'm a  member of a 7 board HOA condominium  of  which it is  6-1 against. The problem that I'm having is that my window well is  allowing gallons of water to enter my basement. I purchased two water pumps to keep up with the inflow of water. Have video proof.  I am being totally ignored by the management company and other board members. I need some legal direction on how to deal with this problem. I,m 85 and my wife is 84.

It sounds like you're dealing with a tough situation. Although you are a board member, your rights as a property owner are not diminished. Typically, responsibility for property maintenance and the damage to your property depends on the specific terms of your homeowners' association agreement, HOA statues, and the situation at hand. Without reviewing your unique circumstances such as the source of the water and association documents it is difficult to give you specific guidance.

Given the complexity of your situation and the fact that you have not made any progress, I suggest that you speak with one or our HOA attorneys to learn your options. We have dealt with issues concerning HOAs and flooding into condominium units in the past and will be able to better advise you in a one-on-one meeting. If you would like to schedule a free case assessment please contact us at (303) 688-0944 or go to robinsonandhenry.com/locations/.
