I filed a complaint against PayPal due to them putting my funds on hold and since then have had one thing after another go against me. They stopped releasing my funds after their stated policy, told me Id have to call in myself every day to get my funds, forced me to reverify my account to get my funds (I’ve done this already and was immediately after I complained), then had my account closed in the middle of the day with no contact whatsoever to ask what I was selling. They just made assumptions and locked my account immediately making it so I couldn’t accept payments. This caused me to have to quickly shut down my website and remove all my ebay listings since that is the only payment method. They also locked my funds in my account and won’t allow me to remove them even after they are cleared now. They have essentially shut down my business for weeks now cost me thousands of dollars on top of the 50+ hours of back and forth and so much stress that I can’t sleep. Is this something that would constitute a case for loss of business, illegally holding my business funds, and the extreme stress and suffering this has caused?
