I'm not sure I completely understand the question. If the question is can a non-attorney act in their own legal matters the answer is yes. If the question is whether the contract is valid if the party does not use their attorney, the answer is generally yes, however, executed agreements can be nullified if the party did not have capacity or if fraud was involved.
