Tenants may think Colorado is a landlord-friendly state, but evicting a bad tenant is nothing short of tedious for landlords. They must navigate a complex legal process with strict adherence to state regulations. A single filing error can result in a case’s dismissal, forcing the landlord to restart the process and incur needless additional costs.

In this case, our client sought to evict a bad tenant who had failed to pay rent for two months in a row. After the court initially dismissed the case for improper notice, our client turned to Robinson & Henry. Once our team filed a summons and complaint with the court, the bad tenant agreed to vacate the premises. Our client was relieved to regain control of the property and be rid of the bad tenant for good.
