We’ve all heard of the potential nightmares of dealing with your HOA board. These matters can quickly become contentious and may even escalate to the courtroom.

In this case, our client sued their HOA for property damage. After filing the lawsuit, the HOA  began a harassment campaign against them. The HOA accused the homeowner of gang activity, summoned the police multiple times,  and installed cameras in front of their home. The HOA also fined the homeowners thousands of dollars for baseless by-law violations and even attempted to change by-laws to prevent our client from speaking with other community members.

Our litigation team represented the owners at an HOA hearing, where we disputed the fines. As a result, the penalties were reduced to zero.
