Professional services are not charity. When you provide services to a client, you have a right to be paid for your time and expertise. This isn’t just a moral obligation; it’s a legal one as well.

In this case, Robinson & Henry successfully represented a construction company in a payment dispute. The homeowners hired the company to fix hail damage on their property. When it came time for payment, the homeowners refused despite receiving an insurance payout to cover the repairs.

To get any payment, the construction company had to put a mechanic's lien on the homeowner's property and sue the homeowner for breaking the contract and civil theft.

Our Litigation Team obtained a motion for summary judgment for the client. The victory included treble damages for civil theft and breach of contract as well as full reimbursement for attorney fees.
