People associate getting a divorce with big emotions such as grief or relief. However, oftentimes, it’s the sheer volume of paperwork that overwhelms clients.

This is particularly true when it comes to retrieving financial documents for asset division. Many clients we represent find this step tedious and time-consuming. It’s no surprise that it’s here most mistakes happen.

In this case, Robinson & Henry’s Family Law Team represented our client’s best interest in his divorce proceedings. After the divorce was finalized,  both parties remembered an annuity account that should have been included in the filing. We quickly drafted some pleadings on our client’s behalf, and the court granted the post-decree modification request.
