Many clients are surprised to discover that divorce doesn't necessarily end parenting time disputes. In reality, these conflicts can persist for years, often intensifying as children grow and their needs evolve.

In this case, a father came to us with concerns that his ex was trying to further restrict his parenting time. His ex had already obtained a court order that eliminated our client’s overnight visitation rights. So no one was surprised when his ex filed a motion to roll back his parenting time even further.

Fortunately, our family law attorneys were able to block the motion and restore our client’s parental rights. We also convinced the court to approve a step-up parenting plan so our client and his child could reacclimate with one another over time.
