Modification of Protection Order Reunites Family

Treating substance use disorders is challenging. It involves battling cravings and addressing harm to loved ones. And then there are the legal issues. 

We helped a mother reunite her children with their stepfather after his treatment for alcohol and domestic violence. A protection order had barred contact between the stepfather and children due to a violent incident while drunk.

Now, thanks to our Family Law Team the stepfather can spend time with his family and enjoy his sobriety.
