Colorado takes a tough stance on driving under the influence (DUI), even for first-time offenders. In addition to the permanent stain on their criminal and driving records, DUI offenders are subjected to a number of other harsh punishments, including jail time.

In this case, a first-time offender facing mandatory jail time turned to Robinson & Henry’s Criminal Defense Team for help. When arrested, their blood alcohol content (BAC) was three times the legal limit.

Our client pleaded guilty, enabling our team to negotiate a more lenient sentence on their behalf. Instead of jail time, our client was sentenced to 30-days of home detention, followed by probation.
