Dogs are cherished members of the family for many Coloradans. Unfortunately, these loyal companions can panic in certain situations and bite. When this happens, the dog owner could face a lawsuit and criminal charges.

In this case, a dog owner, who was charged with having a “dangerous dog” after it “nipped” a child, reached out to us when his previous attorney was unable to achieve a better offer than euthanizing the animal.

Our Criminal Defense Team opened up discussions with the district attorney's office and was able to have the case dismissed. As a result, our client was able to keep his cherished dog.
