Video Evidence Crushes Careless Driving Charges

A couple sought a criminal defense attorney after they believed they were wrongfully charged with careless driving. 

Our clients were involved in a highway pile-up crash that resulted in injuries. Law enforcement charged our client with careless driving causing injury. That is a class 1 misdemeanor traffic offense, and it is punishable with 10 days to 1 year in jail and/or fines of up to $1,000.

A member of our Criminal Defense Team presented video evidence that showed no wrongdoing by our client and that they had been wrongfully charged. As a result, all charges were dismissed.
